Welcome to The Booth

Lucky Evi, London DJ and producer, giving a peace sign in his home studio

I've wanted a space like this for a while. Somewhere to write properly, not just squeeze thoughts into captions.

The Booth is where I'll put down what is actually going on.

DJ sets. Studio work. Gear I'm using. The album I'm finally producing properly. Music culture. Industry moves. The odd opinion nobody asked for, because tradition matters.

Some posts will be practical. If you're a DJ or producer, I'll write about the tools I use, choices I make, and things I've learned the hard way from years of doing this.

Some posts will be more personal. I've been writing for a long time, and I'm now building those ideas into finished records. I want to track that process while it is happening, not polish the story after the fact.

And some of it will just be commentary. Music, technology, culture, scenes, bad takes, good records, strange industry decisions. Whatever feels worth saying something about.

No fixed schedule. No content calendar pretending to be a personality.

I'll post when there's something worth writing.

Stick around if that sounds useful.
